Limonada de Coco is a soul satisfying, frosty lemonade or limeade.
I hear it’s from Cartagena, Colombia, but i first had it in Medellin. Who cares? It’s a deeeeeelicious summer drink you will love and your friends will too.
This recipe calls for cream of coconut – not to be confused with coconut cream or coconut milk. You can use Coco Lopez or find it with mixers in the liquor aisle of your local supermarket.
I don’t like the taste of alcohol, but if you wanna ruin it with rum, go ahead, otherwise add a splash of citron vodka and you’ll still experience the magic of Limonada de Coco.
